PURE Youth Frisco

PURE Youth, a leadership program, specifically aims to facilitate discussion and awareness of the impact that education has on society through numerous projects and fundraising. PURE Youth also supports projects from all program areas and causes PURE champions which gives the ambassadors an opportunity to understand the depth and breadth of the issue, solution and impact on the lives they are helping change.

Frisco's youth team was started in the year 2016 with a 6-year-old child. The young volunteer baked cookies and sold them at local music and dance recitals. The youth team was formalized in 2019. Volunteers are raising funds and spreading awareness creatively. They are hoping to increase their activities and help more children.

Led By Children, For Children

I like volunteering in PURE because I get to help underprivileged kids all over the world. When I Visited a School in India in 2016, I saw that some of the kids didn’t have basic necessities like clean water, proper restrooms, or proper classrooms. PURE has been able to help some of these kids and I feel very good about it and want to help more kids. ~Mahati

Before I joined as a volunteer, we used to donate to PURE because we love the work PURE is doing by serving the rural and urban communities. We are so impressed with how much impact they are making and how transparent they are with the amount we donate.
It is a delight to see the photos they share after the project is completed. We feel so satisfied to see where the donation is going and how it is impacting the needy almost immediately. I always used to wonder how they are impacting so many people so fast. Impressed with how much PURE is serving the rural and urban community in India, I joined as a volunteer. After that I realized how they are doing so much, I see how much time and energy they put into the work they do. They put their heart and soul in serving the communities in need. I was blown away by the dedication of the directors and volunteers. I feel privileged to call myself a volunteer in this dedicated organization which is educating so many in need which will have ripple effects in future generations too ~Radhika Pennepalli
